Customer Service Manager

Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire

Job Purpose: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout their journey with us. You will lead our customer service team, oversee day-to-day operations, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor the customer service team to deliver outstanding service and support to our customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer enquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to address customer needs and drive improvements.
  • Monitor and analyse customer feedback and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their unique requirements and anticipate future needs.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on customer service performance and initiatives.

 

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a customer service management role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
