Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage all phases of construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in site safety, quality assurance, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and sub-contractor management. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee site safety and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Manage quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and materials
  • Coordinate MEP installations and ensure they meet project requirements
  • Supervise and manage sub-contractors to ensure they meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and perform regular project progress reviews
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely decision-making
  • Manage and control project budgets, costs, and expenditures
  • Implement and monitor construction best practices to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation and reports


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5+ years experience as Construction Manager
  • Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or strong trade background
  • Proven experience as a construction manager or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of construction management processes means, and methods
  • Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse team and lead by example


Day-to-day:


  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Review project schedules and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns
  • Monitor and track project expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team to ensure successful project completion
