We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Construction Project Manager to oversee a significant laboratory development project with a budget of £30 million. This role demands a professional with extensive experience in managing intricate laboratory or healthcare construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and superior quality standards.
  • Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project success.
  • Prepare and oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial documentation.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Lead Project Manager in the construction sector, particularly with laboratory or healthcare projects.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
