The Role:


We are working with a well-established international law firm who are looking for a Compliance Paralegal to join the team in London.


Responsibilities


  • Supporting Compliance Lawyers by managing and documenting key decisions in decision logs.
  • Pro-actively identifying potential compliance issues and suggesting ways to address them.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and keeping the team updated.
  • Preparing and collating responses to client questionnaires and audits, assisting with initial review of client terms.
  • Helping to draft and update the firm’s policies and procedures and answering questions from Partners, other fee-earners and Business Services on those policies and procedures.


Requirements:


  • Some experience of working within a compliance function or a genuine interest in the field.
  • Confident and articulate communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels across the firm.
