The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Facilities Manager. As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will collaborate with the Facilities Manager to oversee the daily maintenance activities, coordinate repairs and upgrades and ensure that all safety and compliance regulations are met.
This role requires excellent time management and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with a focus on proactive maintenance and superior customer service. Main Responsibilities
Catering, Hospitality, Cleaning, Print & Post.
Supporting the facilities coordinator with managing the fitness space and transport contracts.
Ensuring staffing levels meet required 5* service levels working with the Macro facility team to manage compliance legislation, Health & Safety requirements identifying key market trends working to Macro and the clients environmental and sustainability targets to provide industry driven innovation and consistency across all locations meeting the client expectations.
Managing the specified services contracts ensuring a high-level consistent service standard, financial reporting, contract compliance to protect the integrity of Macro.
Striving to deliver organic growth of the contract, mentoring, supporting and developing teams.
Actively achieving best value.
Providing exemplary customer service and striving to meet client expectations.
Providing these services but not limited to:
Procured Services Management (Tender and benchmark)
Vendor Services Management
Compliance (Quality Assurance and HSE) oversight and reporting via Macro/client reporting system
Risk Management
Client EMS system – ISO 14001
Procurement
Complaint Handling
Team support, mentoring, developing and supporting others
Budget planning, commercial awareness
The Ideal candidate will have:
Experience in Facilities Management or a similar role
Degree level or IWFM Level 4 or above
IOSH
Flexibility to support the wider FM team (An active collaborator)
Key attention to detail
Calm confident negotiating skills to ensure service levels remain constant
Keen interest in food scene, market trends, quality and outstanding presentation
