A prestigious private golf club, acclaimed globally, with outstanding 5-Star facilities in the incredible Surrey countryside. This club is looking for an eager and experienced Junior Sous Chef looking for the next challenge in their career. You will be cooking with the freshest ingredients, and a top quality menu, developing your experience along the way.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist in menu development with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring top-notch food quality and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, maintaining efficient workflow and high hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders to minimize waste.
  • Actively participate in cooking and preparation, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Train and develop junior kitchen staff, offering guidance on techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure all dishes meet our high standards through regular quality checks on taste, presentation, and portion control.


Requirements:

  • Experience of 2+ years of working in a similar high end environment.
  • Experience cooking British cuisine is preferable but not required
  • A full UK driving licence (there is no public transport to the site)
  • A willingness to learn and engage with the team, conducive of a positive working environment
