M&A Operations Analyst


About the role:


We have an excellent entry-level/junior opportunity to join a leading M&A Insurance Broker. You will help support the company in its next phase of growth. You will have exposure to every facet of running a successful regulated financial services firm, including accounting, broking, compliance, legal, IT and data management. Any insurance experience is desirable but not required. You will be taught everything you need to know about the product and the insurance industry.


Responsibilities include:

  • Enter and maintain integrity of all data within our data capturing system.
  • Maintain and monitor the corporate file structure on the corporate server.
  • Assist the brokers in drafting documentation.
  • Prepare analytical data using spreadsheets – utilizing both pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Provide general assistance to brokers with administrative duties
  • Liaise with brokers on all administrative issues, including premium payments and document management.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international financial sanctions.


About you:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Business, Economics or Law (preferred).
  • Fluent in English. Additional European language capabilities would be favourable.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and driven individual with a focus on providing the best possible service. Endeavours to exceed expectations.
  • Inquisitive – challenges rationale and gets to the root cause of issues rather than reacting to symptoms or accepting precedent.
  • Demonstrates pride in delivering high quality output, and able to maintain this whilst under pressure.
  • Proactive – showing initiative when completing tasks by pre-empting issues and proposing solutions to them.
