Senior Operations Analyst - Payments

Role Overview: As a guardian of client funds, your proficiency in scripting will be instrumental in the precise allocation of unallocated funds. Your day-to-day activities will demand the highest standard of completion, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Utilize your analytical prowess with prominent payment systems such as SWIFT, BACS, FPS, and SEPA to deliver exceptional service. Solve intricate problems, manage complex escalations, and resolve live issues efficiently.
  • Client Fund Management: Ensure accurate allocation of unallocated funds through advanced scripting skills.
  • Team Support: Support the ops delivery lead, gain insights into team performance, and spearhead ongoing improvements to foster a culture of success.
  • Compliance and Standards: Leverage your experience with CASS to enhance team capabilities and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Effective Communication: Serve as the linchpin in interactions with the customer team and senior analysts, proactively sharing best practices to ensure harmonious and effective service delivery.
  • Control Environment Management: Operate and refine the control environment, recommending enhancements to ensure its robustness and effectiveness.
  • Mentorship and Development: Provide coaching and support to team members, imparting operational knowledge and nurturing a developmental atmosphere.
  • Innovation and Efficiency: Collaborate with the ops delivery lead and product owner to drive technological advancements that yield fantastic customer outcomes and greater operational efficiency.

  • Proven track record in financial operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with payment systems (SWIFT, BACS, FPS, SEPA).
  • Expertise in scripting for fund allocation.
  • Experience with CASS compliance.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
