United Kingdom Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing Full time

Our customer, a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator company, is looking to hire a Senior legal counsel (Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience with a major law firm and/or in-house experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Commercial contracts, including sourcing, Capex projects, contract manufacturing projects, etc).


Qualifications:

  • UK or Norway or EU-qualified lawyers with Significant UK experience
  • Experience, with a law firm or a multinational company’s corporate legal department
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and previous exposure to Healthcare and Pharma industry regulations
  • Previous experience in identifying and resolving legal issues quickly and effectively and ability to make on-the-spot risk calls


Overview:

  • The Counsel for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) will be responsible for providing legal advice on all aspects of the company’s operations and initiatives in the region.
  • This includes structuring and negotiating strategic commercial contracts.
  • The role involves advising senior business leaders on opportunities and direction, as well as guiding team members on daily legal issues.
  • The Counsel will primarily handle matters related to the Middle East and North Africa, but must also be flexible to work on issues in other EMEA sub-regions.
