Department Description

The Human Resource team is a small but growing team who are supporting Allica Bank and it’s employees to reach their goals. We’re a hands-on team and there is great opportunity to develop your career whilst you help build one of the UK’s newest banks.

Role Description

The Recruitment Partner at Allica Bank is responsible for leading recruitment campaigns, building great relationships, providing knowledge and key insights to your business areas and developing recruitment practices across these.


The role will play a key part in ensuring that Allica Bank has the resources it requires to meet its growth agenda and ensuring that all candidates who are interacting with Allica Bank have a best in class candidate experience.


The role will recruit, partner and share sector/business area insights with Allica’s hiring managers to build key relationships across the bank, with the main focus on Allica’s Distribution teams who are fundamental to relationship manage and drive new business across our product range for UK SMEs.


The Recruitment Partner will implement Allica’s recruitment strategy, proactively build talent pipelines across the UK, devise and implement methods to attract and headhunt top talent through to coordinating the interview process to hire.


You will partner and work seamlessly with your key stakeholders and HR to give a best in class candidate experience through to onboarding our new colleagues to join the organisation.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Hire great people at pace
  • Build strong relationships across the bank and partner with the relevant business areas to assess their recruitment needs and manage campaigns to meet these needs
  • Manage Allica Bank’s recruitment channels to attract best in class candidates
  • Manage and influence the end to end recruitment process
  • Work closely and in partnership with 3rd party suppliers including recruitment agencies and job sites
  • Interview and screen prospective candidates to provide the business with high quality candidates
  • Role model and promote our culture and values at all times
  • Develop and produce recruitment MI to support the refinement of Allica’s process and to drive improved outcomes for candidates and Allica


Personal Attributes & Experience

  • Previous experience in managing the full recruitment cycle and the delivery of recruitment services ideally from an in-house environment or an RPO or recruitment agency
  • Proven experience of implementing recruitment strategies across organisations
  • Experience in working with 3rd party suppliers such as media, agencies and LinkedIn
  • Experience using Direct sourcing tools (such as LinkedIn, talent pooling, Executive Search and working with relevant job boards)
  • Commercial understanding of the business and how recruitment can support the requirements of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, to manage multiple recruitment campaigns, demands and tight deadlines
  • Ability to plan ahead to provide proactive Recruitment support to the business
  • Pragmatic, diplomatic, and a good team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in scaling and building new teams
  • Previous experience of Distribution recruitment across the UK
