Job Overview
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of an amazing content & creative Agency's account management strategy. We are seeking an experienced Account Director to elevate our client service and operational efficiency.
As our new Account Director, you will leverage your extensive industry experience and expertise in traditional account management practices. This full-time role requires you to lead the account management team, implement robust processes, and drive client growth. Your primary goal is to ensure the agency provides exceptional client service while enhancing account growth and internal efficiency.

Key Skills required:
Extensive experience in account management within the media or advertising industry
Proven track record of growing client accounts and delivering exceptional client service
Strong background in implementing and maintaining traditional account management processes
Proven commercial awareness and experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write detailed contact reports and respond to client communications promptly
Experience working in a larger agency and bringing that expertise to this agency to enhance our processes and client management practices
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of Account Managers
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on client growth and process improvement
Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Implement and maintain traditional account management processes, including writing detailed contact reports and responding promptly to emails
Ensure all Account Managers adhere to best practices in client communication and project management
Client Growth:
Work closely with the Client Director to identify and capitalize on opportunities for account expansion
Develop strategies to grow client accounts, aiming for significant annual growth
Process Implementation:
Establish and refine processes to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the account management team
Work with the team to interrogate client briefs and budgets by challenging and asking questions, ensuring timely project delivery within budget for both the client and the agency
Lead efforts to organize the team into a highly efficient operational state
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients to secure long-term partnerships
Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide Account Managers, providing them with the support and training needed to excel in their roles
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Ability to multitask across clients and projects, organizing the team to ensure optimal delivery within Client Services and the wider agency
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on account performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Present account updates and growth strategies to senior management
