Role Overview:
This is a 6-month contract position to start, with potential for extension. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll ensure the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch, maintain accurate inventory, and support the Warehouse Manager in optimizing processes. You’ll play a key role in keeping everything running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with audits, and coordinate restocking to maintain supply availability.
- Shipment Coordination: Oversee receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Prepare shipping documents and track shipments.
- Warehouse Operations: Optimize storage, ensure safety compliance, and support the team in daily tasks.
- Cross-Departmental Support: Communicate with sales, customer service, and purchasing teams about stock and orders.
- Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on inventory and warehouse performance.
- Team Leadership: Guide warehouse staff and act as a liaison between them and management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proficiency in WMS and inventory software.
- IT hardware and basic support experience is a plus.
