What The Job Entails:


Campaign managers are crucial to the agency's success, responsible for executing high-level campaigns for various accounts. We are looking for an experienced Campaign Manager and influencer marketing expert who has experience working with a host of brands (ideally across the tech field) and can bring operational, strategic, and analytical skills to run our campaigns. 


We are in search of a proactive professional to manage the daily operations of several accounts and drive campaigns from initial planning through to final execution, constantly helping to build and optimise processes to continually improve our service and campaign delivery. This role requires someone who can consistently think ahead and creatively propose new activities and strategies to enhance client campaigns.


All team members contribute to new business by drafting proposals, presenting pitches, and generating leads. As well as commission on lead generation, there is also a spot bonus for the individuals who secure new business wins and existing client contract renewals.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Craft high-level strategies and detailed campaign plans for client accounts. Manage the creative and strategic process to ensure innovative campaigns for all clients.
  • Identify, recruit, and build strong relationships with suitable influencers.
  • Oversee campaigns from start to finish, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and performance reports.
  • Identify leads, support new business pitches, and engage in proactive outreach.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of client servicing/ campaign delivery processes and overseeing daily operations.
  • Manage campaign budgets and track campaign performance, costs and results.
  • Manage all communications and operations with assigned clients.
  • Full responsibility for the success of assigned accounts. The success of your account falls to you.
  • Carry out miscellaneous tasks to support the AKG Media team.


Key Attributes and Skills:

  • Expertise in implementing influencer marketing campaigns
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
  • Competence in managing campaign budgets (although this will be a small part of the role).
  • Operational and Project Management Skills
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm
  • Skilled in Excel/ Google Sheets and CRM software.


Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of influencer marketing and the creator economy, ideally within the tech industry in the UK and US markets.
  • Experience in performance influencer marketing, driving ROAS for tech brands.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
  • Competence in managing campaign budgets (although this will be a smaller part of the role).
  • Operational and Project Management Skills
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
  • 2-4 years experience in a similar position.
  • A proven track record of successful delivery for clients.
  • A proven track record of over-performing on campaign KPIs.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently with little to no supervision.
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to tackle challenges head-on with a proactive approach.
  • Extensive experience running campaigns typically on short-form social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Track record of upselling to existing clients and securing new business.
  • Skilled in paid media, e.g. amplifying influencer content.


Vision for the Role:

You will have a direct hand in most of our client accounts, which all sit at between five and six figures in annual spending. 


Ultimately, your primary goal in this role is to take control of and perform successful campaigns for our clients, build relationships with them to upsell, and allow our Founder to focus on securing new business. We want you to have a firm grasp over campaign delivery, constantly optimise processes, take the lead, and eventually be the lead/ director of an entire campaign management team within our agency, so there’s a lot of growth opportunity for you here.
