Buyer | Medical & Surgical Category | Private Medical Brand | 12 month FTC

Fully remote – Adhoc travel to Bedfordshire

£40,000 + benefits


Talent Drive are pleased to be assisting in the search for a Buyer to join a growing private medical brand. You will take ownership of key elements of the category work plan, including delivering sourcing projects and their associated targets in conjunction with business stakeholders as well as support the transformation and development of the procurement function and its credibility within the organisation.


What the role involves:

  • Contributing to the development of the annual category work plan.
  • Initiating and delivering category projects and targets, supporting the delivery of wider team targets and operational KPI’s
  • Having a visible presence in the business and building credibility with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring a robust procurement process for all contracted goods and services, identifying and meeting all regulatory and quality standards
  • Negotiating robust contracts, including pricing and commercial terms and the development of SLA’s and KPI’s to support operational requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with all Procurement policies and processes
  • Supporting the development of global procurement initiatives and their local implementation
  • Managing core/non-core suppliers to ensure performance and innovation are delivered during the contract term


Experience:

  • End to end Procurement process experience.
  • Medical & Surgical category experience would be preferred
  • Able to work with senior business stakeholders to successfully deliver complex sourcing projects in a multi-site organisation
