Our client is a multi faceted events venue and brewery In Kent who are looking for a Function & Weddings Coordinator to join their team on a full time basis. As the Functions & Weddings Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the event from the initial enquiry to the end to end planning and delivery of a variety events including weddings, concerts, comedy shows and private parties.
Key ResponsibilitiesnHandle all incoming enquiries and drive new venue hire salesnLiaise with the client throughout the whole processnEnd to end coordination and management of eventsnManage all event logistics from ordering stock to liaising with external suppliersnManage the internal and external event diarynFull event delivery on the daynCreate proposals, invoices and negotiate ratesnTake on duty supervisor responsibilities on event days on an ad hoc basis
Skills and ExperiencenExperience in 360 event management within a hotel or events venuenExperience in planning and delivering weddings is essentialnExcellent communication skillsnAn eye for quality and detailnOrganised and efficient approach to their workloadnAbility to be flexible and work some evenings and weekendsnPositive and enthusiastic
