Plant Protection Officer

Apply today to work as a Plant Protection Officer in Oxford for our client's well- known site, needing a constant security presence and a high standard of security to be met at all times. The role is fast paced, where no two days are ever the same.
The rate of pay is £14.08 per hour.
This is a full-time permanent role working 42 hours per week, you would work 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off.
You will need to hold a full UK manual driving license and your own transport.
Your Time at Work
As a Plant Protection Officer, you could be attending a security breach, first aid response, a fire alarm, or a chemical spill, so you need to be able to adapt and react quickly in pressurised situations. Other duties include:
- Operating internal and external patrols.
- Providing car park patrols and apply restrictions as required.
- Responding to emergencies immediately and request for assistance where required.
- Reporting instances on and around the site.
- Operating search policy as per instructed by the customer.
- Carrying out initial investigations and report writing on incidents, accidents, damage, suspicious activities and parking.
- Performing as instructed locking and unlocking duties.
- Ensuring that the security teams are briefed on events or changes in procedures that have been implemented or are due to be introduced.
Our Perfect Worker
For this role, security backgrounds are desirable but if you have the willingness to learn, then we will be able to train you to the company standards
You will need to hold a full UK manual driving license and your own transport.
Please note for health and safety reasons, you will be asked questions in regards to wearing breathing apparatus on site.
