What you'll do as a Graduate Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special needs
Implement tailored learning plans and use adapted teaching materials
Build a supportive relationship as a role-model to students
Encourage interaction with classroom activities and with other students
Collaborate with teachers and parents
What you need to be a Graduate Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs. You will need to show that you are able to adapt and stay calm in challenging situations, be flexible and enthusiastic to meet the needs of a wide range of disabilities, and maintain your sense of humour at the same time Are you up for the challenge?
Information on the Graduate Special Needs Teaching Assistant role:
Location- Tonbridge, Kent
Pay- £85-100 per day. This is equivalent to £425-£500 per week Full-Time. Day rate is dependent on qualifications and experience.
Hours- 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Full-time ideally, part-time negotiable.
Contract- September-December. Contract likely to be extended. Temp to perm opportunities may become available.
Year- Key Stages 1-4 (Years 1-11, ages 5-16)
Qualifications- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.
