About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Students: Provide personalized support to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Promote independence and confidence through structured activities.
- Classroom Collaboration: Work with teachers to deliver lessons that meet each student's unique needs. Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment, and monitor student progress.
- Additional Support: Assist during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities. Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies.
Requirements
- Experience: Has experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting.
- Safeguarding: Is knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection.
- Communication: Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
