Position Summary:
We are looking for Special Needs Support Assistants to work in a dynamic educational setting catering to children and young adults with profound, severe, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Engage with students to foster their independence and confidence.

Working Hours:
Full-time position from 08:30 to 15:30.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate of £12.31, plus holiday pay.

Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of safeguarding practices and experience working with vulnerable populations is essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability are crucial, as the role may involve working across various age groups and special needs requirements.

Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience in special education or with children is advantageous but not mandatory; all applications are welcomed.
- A proactive approach and the ability to use initiative are highly valued.

Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must possess an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- For those who have resided in the UK for less than five years, a right to work visa and a criminal background check from any country lived in for six months or more within the past five years will be required.
