As a Support Worker at Leonard Cheshire, you will join a remarkable team. Each day presents unique challenges, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, medication management, and meal support.
  • Accompanying clients within the service and to external events and appointments.

  • Keeping accurate and current records of client interactions and care provided.

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Be adaptable and innovative when working with clients and their families.
  • Have some experience in personal care (preferred but not essential).
  • Be capable of working under pressure and collaborating within a team.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call schedule as needed.
