Our client is a prestigious school based in Central Cambridge. They are currently looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to support their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role which would suit a strong administrator who has an interest in finance.
Main duties will include:
* Purchasing and procurement
* Processing school fees
* Prepare budget reports
* Petty cash management
* Manage school charity accounts
* Monthly reporting on utility usage
* Financial management relating to school trips and events
* Any other admin support as required, including occasionally cover reception
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a busy office environment
* Ideally some experience within finance or highly numerate and good analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Previous experience within a school is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
