You will work with and support the current Grain Forwarding team, managing the delivery of bulk raw materials to destinations at relevant locations.

Our Forwarders are an integral part of our business as they ensure the delivery and collection of products that meet the customer’s specification and timescales. The role involves working with key internal stakeholders, our external customers, and our transport network. Attention to detail, time management, and strong organisational skills are essential for this role.

About You

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • Experience of a fast-moving Transport environment is preferred however, if you are keen to learn and have the transferred skills, we would be happy to develop your transport skills

Your Role

As a Freight Forwarder your role will involve:

  • Arranging the collection of bulk materials and delivery within timescales requested by the customer
  • Communication of all delivery confirmations to the customer
  • Working closely with the national fleet team to optimise the logistical efficiencies.
  • Communication of logistical issues to peers/ suppliers/customers
  • Communication with haulage contractors
  • Provide support cover when required within the existing Forwarding Team
