Job Title:

Business Development Manager

Responsible For:

Developing and advising organisations on learning and development opportunities within the companys training portfolio.

Role Purpose:

To position the company as a leader in Learning & Development (L&D) by establishing partnerships with businesses and promoting tailored training solutions that meet workforce needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Introduce large levypaying employers to the company s range of training services effectively communicating opportunities to relevant stakeholders and decisionmakers.
  2. Engage in partnership development and account management aligning with company policies and collaborating with organisations to support growth and financial goals.
  3. Present the company s seamless plugin Learning and Development services through appropriate communication methods.
  4. Achieve strategic business objectives for revenue learners and client accounts while adhering to corporate social responsibility policies.
  5. Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement strategic development plans within the sales division.
  6. Take responsibility for partnership development account management and performance monitoring ensuring financial targets are met.
  7. Deliver highquality services to all clients reflecting the company s customercentric approach.
  8. Develop and diversify the companys apprenticeship offerings and design commercial programs that meet client needs.
  9. Regularly update the company CRM system to track activity contract success learner enrolment and retention rates.
  10. Build and maintain links with key national and local partner organisations to ensure training offers are aligned with employer and learner needs.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure systems and processes create a safe supportive learning environment. Ensure all safeguarding protocols are followed.
  12. Complete administrative tasks and provide documentation as required.
  13. Liaise with colleagues across departments to support shared goals.
  14. Adopt and promote the company s cultural pillars to maintain a positive working environment.
  15. Support staff development activities including identifying training needs for employees across the organisation.
  16. Actively promote equal opportunities policies.
  17. Undertake additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or equivalent qualification (Desirable)

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in business development preferably in the education and skills sector (Essential)
  2. Experience in corporate account management developing seniorlevel relationships (Essential)
  3. Experience in preparing tenders proposals and propositions to win new business (Desirable)
  4. Proven ability to identify revenue growth opportunities and implement key account management strategies (Essential)
  5. Experience providing consultancy/advisory services and linking program solutions to business objectives (Essential)
  6. Supporting senior leadership and operational departments to measure ROI for levypaying accounts (Essential)
  7. Engaging with senior business leaders to maximise ROI from apprenticeship levy budgets (Essential)


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
