Role Overview:


As a Data Analyst/Scientist, you will work as part of our data team, reporting to our Lead Data Analyst/Scientist. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data to support both reporting and project-based workflows. Using your data expertise, you will identify new opportunities and provide feedback and support to the wider Engineering & Development teams. We are looking for someone who can tell compelling stories with data, surfacing key metrics and measures in interactive and engaging ways. If you are committed to continuous improvement and passionate about delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, exciting environment, we want to hear from you.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the running of regular internal and external reporting.
  • Create new interactive and engaging reports based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Take part in code/report reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Optimize MySQL, Python, Excel & VBA code.
  • Join data from disparate sources to provide insightful analysis.
  • Present concise, accurate analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Productionize reporting and insights using defensive coding techniques and critical thinking.



Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:


  • Experience in a data analyst/scientist role.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience using other MS Office suite tools (PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with analytical programming languages (Python, R, Julia).
  • Experience with BI software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
  • Knowledge and experience of dimensional modeling.
  • Familiarity with working in an agile team.
