Purpose of this role:nThe Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the operations of our London based office. This role encompasses the management of day-to-day services including Reprographics, Post Room, Archives and Stationery.

The Team Leader ensures that the office space is well-maintained to the highest standard and that all office and workspaces are equipped with the necessary equipment. Working under minimal supervision, the Team Leader relies on extensive experience, proactivity, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.nThe role of the Team Leader is to effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of the health & Safety, quality, cost, delivery, technical, and human resources. Ensuring optimisation of equipment uptime by keeping equipment failure and inefficiency to a minimum through effective planned maintenance and remedy of breakdowns. Achievement of agreed KPI’s and SLAs.

Key responsibilities :nUndertake any reasonable duties as requested by Operations ManagernBe responsible for the day to day running of the teamnEnsure that the workload and team is staffed correctly (i.e. absence and holidays)nConduct and manage onsite training needsnMonitor staff attendance and timekeeping and respond to issuesnManagement of absence process and procedures making sure cover is in place in all areasnLiaise regularly with the Senior Operators to give updates on workflow, deadlines and problems so that Client requirements can be effectively managednConduct Team meetings and regular 1-2-1 sessions, ensuring effective communicationnSupport the Operations Manager with all Annual and Interim reviewsnRelate accurate information to users on progression of their worknEnsure the team is working efficiently and effectively to complete the SLA'snInvestigate errors within the team and provide a full written report to the Operations ManagernArrange fortnightly management information to be given timely to the Operations ManagernComply with onsite Health and Safety procedures.nCompile the monthly H&S report and escalate any variances or areas of concern to the Operations Manager / H&S representative immediatelynSupport colleagues and work as a team to achieve the best results for the clientsn​nKey competencies:n• Ability to operate at all levels within the organisationn• Exceptional communication skillsn• Confident and with a professional, business-like mannern• Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and delivering against timescalesn• Team Leader consistently in tune with the aims and objectives of the businessn• Excellent time management and organisational skillsn• Ability to carry out delegated functions/tasks/projectsn• High level of confidentiality in management of staffn• Able to meet deadlines and priorities tasksn• An understanding of an employer's statutory and 'best practice' Health & Safety requirementn• Strong administration skills and fully conversant with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
