What will my day look like? 

The Head of Marketing is a strategic and driven leader who will develop and execute CTI Digital's marketing strategy to achieve ambitious growth goals. You'll oversee all marketing activities, ensuring they align with the overall commercial strategy and drive qualified leads. This role will be instrumental in positioning CTI Digital as a thought leader in its target sectors and attracting top talent.

Marketing Strategy & Growth:

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement a data-informed marketing strategy aligned with CTI Digital's commercial goals.

  • Implement a multi-channel marketing approach encompassing inbound marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), content marketing, events, SEO/SEM, social media, PR and sales enablement supporting outbound efforts.

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, optimising spend based on performance.

  • Analyse marketing campaign performance using key metrics (e.g., ROI, lead generation) and make data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.

  • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand reach and revenue.

Brand Management & Thought Leadership:

  • Develop and maintain a strong brand identity that resonates with our ICPs and target audiences.
  • Create a consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.

  • Leverage content marketing strategies to establish CTI Digital as a thought leader in our target sectors.

  • Write press releases to increase brand awareness and credibility, working with our PR rep.

Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute targeted lead-generation campaigns.

  • Foster strong communication and alignment between sales, client services and marketing functions.

  • Develop and implement customer relationship marketing (CRM) strategies to nurture existing leads and assist with client retention.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Identify and address skill gaps within the team, providing opportunities for professional development.

  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the marketing team and track progress towards achieving objectives.

Key skills & Qualities
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a marketing manager, head of marketing or other marketing leadership role within an agency or B2B service capacity

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive lead generation and growth

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including inbound marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, and marketing automation

  • Strong knowledge and experience using CRM marketing automation platforms (we use HubSpot)

  • Expertise in data analysis and utilising marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) to measure and optimise marketing performance

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Location: Our head office is in Manchester city centre (Ancoats) - we adopt a hybrid working model (2 days in the office per week)
