**Head of Marketing**

We are looking for an experienced Marketeer to join us as our new Head of Marketing at Shield Safety. This is an exciting role with a real opportunity to drive change and make a huge impact. It’s a brand new role for us with a focus on event planning, campaign development and lead generation to drive demand and position Shield Safety as the “go-to” provider in our chosen markets. The role will lead a small team of 6 alongside external agencies, developing and implementing plans and strategies to both increase our brand position and support retention and revenue generation.

This is a fully B2B role and we specialise in providing risk management software and services to business across Hospitality, Retail and Leisure.

**Role Overview**

The main responsibilities of the role are to lead a talented team of Marketing specialists covering Digital, Design, Partnerships, Social, Events and Campaigns, developing and implementing plans and strategies to both increase our brand position and support retention and revenue generation. The development of the Safe to Trade proposition, of which Shield Safety is the inaugural certifying member, gives a consumer focus to the core B2B responsibilities. You will also run and manage our PR, Marketing and Communications budget.
- Developing and implementing plans to strengthen Shield Safety’s market presence and build on the “voice” and market position as the leader in safety software and services
- Own and deliver our events schedule
- Own our digital approach to paid for search, PPC and SEO, working as required with agency support
- Develop and implement a dedicated plan for Safe to Trade, across both B2B and consumer channels, to position the programme as the first voluntary third party assurance scheme
- Develop a detailed and comprehensive annual Marketing Plan covering all aspects of activity based upon timings and reach
- Monitor progress and submit detailed progress reports against agreed KPIS including Lead generation, sales conversion, brand awareness, client satisfaction, consumer awareness amongst others
- Be the “voice” of Shield Safety and Safe to Trade, responsible for initial copy writing of editorial. Social posts and campaign content; agree and sign-off the weekly drumbeat of external social communications
- Develop integrated Social Media strategy
- Manage external agencies to deliver PR opportunities, including specific media placements and speaking opportunities for Senior Leadership
- Work closely with Commercial management colleagues across Sales and Client Development, to ensure all required sales enablement and engagement documents are in place and effective

- Oversee our Partnership Development strategy, ensuring we have committed and dedicated third party organisations promoting Shield Safety on a paid for and non-paid for basis
- Deliver a monthly management report detailing key activities and plans, reporting progress and achievements as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a Marketing Department, ideally with experience across Campaign, Events, Design, Digital and Social Media
- Event-planning experience
- Ability to develop and execute campaigns in both B2B and consumer channels
- Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Digital and Social Media
- Working knowledge of Web Analytics and Google Ads
- Proactive in connecting and working with external agencies
- Commercial awareness, comfortable in a KPI-driven and target-based working environment
