Purpose of the Role:

In the Studio Assistant role, your main job is to manage and coordinate all studio operations, ensuring the efficient handling of product samples, shoot schedules, data management, and overall studio assistance. You will collaborate closely with the brand team, buying team, and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality output. Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of samples, organisation of shoots, and maintenance of the studio space.


Key Responsibilities:

Sample Management:

  • Oversee the management of all product samples for the Brand team, including handling requests
  • for all shoots and PR purposes.
  • Coordinate with the buying team to streamline the intake process of new samples.
  • Ensure quick turnaround of product/sample sales, maintaining a high level of accuracy and
  • efficiency.
  • zake ownership of sample deliveries and returns, ensuring timely processing and tracking.
  • Manage the processing of gifted stock through the Dolfin system, arranging any necessary returns to the warehouse or stores.
  • Oversee the management of seasonal press samples, ensuring proper tracking and distribution.

Shoot Coordination:

  • Manage and plot the schedule for all product shoots.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of ad-hoc production duties.
  • Serve as a runner or assistant on set during shoots.

Data Management:

  • Organise and name each sample accurately for recording in the Asset Management system.
  • Maintain and update the product tracker and courier tracker, ensuring all data is accurate and within budget constraints.
  • Manage and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring all digital assets are correctly uploaded, tagged, stored, and easily accessible.
  • Conduct regular audits of the DAM system to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards.

Studio Assistance:

  • Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the studio space.
  • Help with prop and wardrobe management, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good
  • condition.
  • Provide support during live shoots, including managing lighting, props, and any other on-set
  • requirements.
  • Assist the studio team with setting up and breaking down equipment for shoots.



What You'll Need to Succeed:


Technical:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a fashion, lifestyle, or retail
  • environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
