Large International Freight Forwarder based in Basildon are looking to recruit an experienced Ocean Freight Import Operator to join their Ocean Freight department.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years previous experience within Ocean Freight Imports, have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Duties will include:
* Liaising with customers and overseas partners
* Taking bookings, data entry onto in house system
* Completing all relevant Import documentation for shipments
* Arranging deliveries and updating customers on shipments
* Being first point of call for customers on telephone and email
* Completing customs paper work
* Finalising shipments and invoicing.
Salary is dependant on experience
