Role Purpose: The Talent Development Partner (Sales) is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team. This role involves creating training materials, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing coaching to ensure that sales representatives have the tools and knowledge needed to meet and exceed their sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication, organization and facilitation skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring others.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive sales training programs, including new hire onboarding, product knowledge, sales techniques, and soft skills. Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and tailor programs to address skill gaps and improve performance. Continuously update training content to reflect changes in products, market trends, and sales strategies.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions in both classroom and virtual environments. Facilitate role-playing exercises, sales simulations, and other hands-on activities to reinforce learning. Provide individualized coaching and feedback to sales representatives to help them apply training concepts to real-world scenarios.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Track the progress of sales representatives and provide ongoing support to ensure continuous improvement. Work closely with sales managers to monitor team performance and address any issues related to sales skills or knowledge.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain a repository of sales resources, including scripts, presentations, and best practices. Ensure that sales teams have access to the latest tools, technologies, and information needed to succeed. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment between sales training and overall business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices in sales training. Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs and delivery methods. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance training skills and knowledge.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to build trust and rapport with sales teams and other stakeholders.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handling disagreements or issues that may arise during training sessions.
  • Needs Assessment: Identifying gaps in knowledge or skills and developing training to address them.
  • Data Analysis: Using data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and making data-driven improvements.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly identifying and addressing issues that arise in training or sales processes.
  • Sales Enablement Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tracking software, and training platforms.
  • E-Learning Tools: Experience with online training platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other digital tools.
  • Content Creation Tools: Proficiency in using tools like PowerPoint, video editing software, and other multimedia tools to create training materials.
