This family run business has been established for over 60 years and continues to be at the forefront of their sector with both innovation and reputation.
Our perfect candidate would be an experienced purchase ledger professional who has first class Excel Skills (VLookUps and Pivot Tables), and exceptional accuracy; experience of working with foreign currency would be a bonus as would knowledge of Microsoft Business Central. This role will also offer development opportunities too, with full training available to include the Import side of the business.
You will be well rewarded with a salary of up to £32,000 is on offer together with benefits which include pension and healthcare. There is free parking, holidays are 23 days per year plus bank holidays.
What’s the Job?
Working as part of the finance team you will be responsible for:
* Matching, batching, and posting GRNs and associated documentation
* Making BACS and Trade Loan payments across multiple currencies
* Carrying out intercompany reconciliations
* Support financial audits
* General reporting as required
What experience do you need?
We would love you to have been working within a similar role for at least two years, we would also like you to have:
* Confident Excel skills (including VLookUps and Pivot Tables)
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Confident communication skills
* Self-motivated and a strong team player
* Confident in the use of accountancy software
