What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for energetic and enthusiasticLearning Support Assistants, to help enable students with special educationalneeds in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, to access the full curriculum withinthe Brookvale Groby Learning Campus.
We are seeking people with experience of supportingteaching and learning in a formal setting, along with knowledge of childprotection and health and safety procedures.
It is essential that applicants hold Level 2qualifications in Maths/Numeracy and English/Literacy.
Providing toileting support to relevant students maybe required, following negotiation with the applicant and after appropriaterisk assessment and training have been undertaken.

A Learning Support Assistant will work under thedirect supervision of a teacher to provide support for teaching and learningand associated activities in accordance with school policies andprocedures. This may include providinggeneral support for whole class learning activities, or supporting individualsor small groups of students.
