Shipping Team Leader
Permanent Staff | High Wycombe
The Company
An international engineering company who specialise in the design, manufacture, install and servicing of special purpose machinery used in a wide range of industries.
The Role
My client is looking for a Shipping Team Leader to join their team.
The work will include the following:
Managing a team of 3
Managing the day to day teams tasks
Ensuring all shipments are commercially clear & compliant with export controls
Handling escalation
Training & support for direct reports
Regular 1-2-1’s
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must
1. Previous team lead experience
2. Understanding of product shipment procedures including awareness of incoterms
3. Excel/Word advance knowledge (VLOOKUP’s essential)
4. Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
5. Knowledge of Letters of Credit (not essential but preferred).
6. A good demonstration of prioritisation within a multi-function role
Due to the nature of this role, security clearence will be required so candidates must have 5 years continuous work history with no gaps in employment.
