Senior Account Manager – Consumer Salary: £43,000–£47,000 (DOE) A brilliant opportunity has landed at one of the UK’s most exciting independent PR shops – a small but mighty agency known for bold thinking, beautifully crafted storytelling, and campaigns that genuinely move the needle. They’re looking for a Consumer Senior Account Manager to join their growing London team and help shape stand-out work across a mix of food & drink, household brands, FMCG, and retail lifestyle clients. The portfolio blends press office delivery with creative campaign development, making it ideal for someone who loves building media momentum while shaping big, attention-earning ideas. While the preference is for someone already operating at Senior Account Manager level , they may also consider a strong Account Manager with around two years’ experience , provided they can demonstrate the confidence, initiative, and readiness to step up. The London office is currently a tight team of around three, so they’re looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, taking ownership, and helping build the culture around them. About the role As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted day-to-day lead across several consumer accounts – driving delivery, guiding the team, and ensuring work lands with impact. You’ll be the person clients rely on: calm, consultative, proactive and commercially aware. You’ll balance the rhythm of a busy press office with the energy of campaign planning: crafting stories, spotting opportunities, managing media conversations, and turning ideas into work that earns attention. What you’ll be doing Client leadership – own day-to-day client relationships, providing confident counsel and ensuring smooth delivery Press office & media relations – drive proactive and reactive media moments, pitch with purpose, and build strong journalist relationships Campaign development – help shape creative ideas, briefing, planning and execution across consumer-facing campaigns Team management – guide junior colleagues, set clear expectations, and help build a supportive, high-performing rhythm Quality control – write and edit press releases, features, briefing docs and content that’s sharp, compelling and on-brand Project oversight – manage timelines, budgets and deliverables across multiple accounts Agency contribution – bring energy to brainstorms, processes, culture and new business activity What they’re looking for Solid experience at Senior Account Manager level within a consumer-focused PR agency Or an Account Manager with roughly two years’ experience who is demonstrably ready to step up Strong press office credentials and a proven ability to secure meaningful coverage A confident, consultative client handler who builds trust quickly A proactive, organised operator who thrives in a small, fast-moving team Excellent writing skills — able to craft narratives across food, lifestyle, retail and broader consumer sectors Creative curiosity and a willingness to lean into all aspects of agency life Someone who brings initiative, positivity and solutions-first energy What you’ll get £43,000–£47,000 salary depending on experience Brilliant exposure across established consumer brands A chance to grow with and help shape a small, ambitious London team Coaching and development tailored to your career path Private healthcare, wellbeing initiatives, and generous holidays Charity days, volunteering opportunities, and an inclusive culture A purpose-driven, B-Corp certified environment where people and impact come first
