The Role
You will drive our revenue growth by focusing on solution-based sales, generating new business opportunities with prospective clients. You’ll target various sectors, generating leads, pitching, pricing, negotiating and closing business. You will have support from marketing, however you will be responsible for driving new opportunities.
You will work closely with our internal team to land and expand new accounts. You’ll lead a consultative, coaching sales approach that speaks to HR, procurement, IT and finance professionals, and business leaders. You will have a real skill at holding non-transactional conversations with people.
What You Will Bring
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be motivated by our uncapped incentive plan. You’ll have sales experience with demonstrable success at overachieving targets. We specialise in solutions sales, so our ideal candidate will have experience in solutions or service sales and will have worked in either learning products, technology or consultancy/ contractor services.
You’ll need to be curious and great at asking insightful questions. You’ll have the ability to engage and develop meaningful, coaching conversations with our clients and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
You will be self-motivated, resilient, goal oriented, upbeat and positive with the desire to exceed targets and KPI's. You’ll have business and commercial acumen and since you’ll be pitching to clients, you’ll be a confident writer and presenter.

About the Team
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be part of a high performing sales team who love to deliver real value to our clients through a consultative, coaching approach. The Package
Salary for the Business Development Manager role is £70,000 to £90,000 including on target commission, depending on experience.
