About The Role
Residential Support Worker -Beacon Park Village
Nexxus Care are recruiting for a motivated care assistant to come and join our team at Beacon Park Village, Lichfield.
S hift patterns are 7am till 3pm, 3pm till 22:00 and alternate weekends )
The role of a Nexxus care assistant is varied in its duties and no 2 days will be the same. Beacon Park Village is a extra care scheme looking after clients who live in there own home (with out the travelling) . You will support with aspects of their personal care as well as ensuring they are remaining safe, comfortable and most importantly happy within their home.
Some duties may include:
  • Provide personal care whilst maintaining independence, respect and dignity, following each individual care plan.
  • Providing person centred care and completing care documentation correctly.
  • Administration of medication following mar charts.
  • Household duties within Beacon Park Village, adhering to health and safety and Coshh regulations.
  • Ensure all alarm bells are answered in a timely manner

About You
Qualities we're looking for:
  • Empathetic and compassionate - Going back to basics, we need individuals who are passionate about providing care and support to residents of all abilities
  • Able to build rapport and relationships quickly
  • Trustworthy and reliable - Are you punctual? Can you manage your time well?
  • Resilience? - Care is extremely rewarding, but can you handle the challenges as well as the fulfilment
  • Flexible - We try our best to ensure you can work the shifts preferred, but on occasions you may need to be flexible

What we need from you:
  • Can you work between 7:30am and 10:00pm
  • Desire to provide personal care and support services to residents which respect rights and choices
  • Do you have the right to work in the UK with proofs? (i.e. passport, Visa)
  • We'll need to complete a DBS check if you're successful, we will cover the initial cost of this - T&C's apply
  • Provide professional references - We'll need at least 2 reference from you previous employers
  • Complete mandatory 3 day classroom based induction held locally - You'll be paid to attend your training, and our training and recruitment team are always available to help
