Cad Technician

We are seeking a talented Draughtsperson / CAD Technician fopr our client on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using Autodesk Inventor or similar design software and have a good general mechanical/manufacturing engineering understanding. Experience with feed mill/process equipment is advantageous but not essential, as in-house training will be provided for candidates with 3D design experience looking to progress their knowledge and develop a career in process engineering.
The Package:
* Salary up to £35,000
Role:
* Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings of metal feed machines and components.
* Develop and update technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams to support manufacturing processes.
* Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
* Utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for drafting and design tasks.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CAD software updates and industry best practices.
* Manage and organize CAD files and related documentation systematically.
Skills:
* CAD experience
* Experience with large scale manufacturing products
* Agricultural experience
