We are looking for a Business Analyst (PLM Experience essential) for a 12 Months contract based in Bristol (Hybrid, 3/day per week in the office) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Job description - the role

The PLM Business Analyst is fully integrated with the Project Team and focuses on the relationship between that team and the business as a whole. The PLM Business Analyst is going to ensures that the overall business needs are properly analysed and are correctly reflected in the guidance the team needs to generate the envisioned solution.

As a Business Analyst (PLM Experience essential) you will be responsible for:

  • Stakeholder mapping and relationships.
  • Appropriate review existing requirements with the business representation and stakeholders to agree understanding of those requirements in preparation for the team to design and deliver.
  • Where appropriate, map out the user cases, and work with the test leads to extend these to test cases.
  • Manage with the other Business Analysts the requirements catalogue for the programme and ensure as appropriate representation up to portfolio level.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Experience in PLM (Product life cycle management) is essential.
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience of all stages within the project life cycle, preferably in projects that have given exposure to waterfall and Agile approaches.
  • Knowledge of Engineering and/or Manufacturing Processes.
  • Requirements gathering, management and traceability.
  • SC Cleared or capable of obtaining UK SC Clearance.
