Are you a Service Engineer or Plant Fitter looking for a new challenge? Interested in becoming a product specialist on our lorry loader cranes?
Palfinger UK is the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction, Recycling and Forestry Cranes. We’re a trusted supplier of an extensive range of some of the world’s most advanced and innovative lifting machines.
Due to demand, we have an exciting opening for a Field Service Engineer to join our specialist aftersales team. We’re looking for a suitable engineer who ideally lives in the Chester area, or the surrounding region.
Duties:
Exceptional customer service and aftersales support is at the heart of our business.
You’ll be based from home and have a responsibility for the effective and efficient servicing, inspection and reactive repairs of our lorry mounted cranes at customer premises across the region.
Our engineers work 40 hours per week between our standard operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday - Friday. Additional over-time, (paid at a premium), is available should you want to work and earn more.

Its essential that you're an existing engineer with mechanical and hydraulic experience maintaining similar equipment such as construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGV's, Forklifts, Talilifts etc.
Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or an associated discipline.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
