About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a full-time basis starting September 2024, with a salary of £100 – £120 per day. In this role, you will support class teachers across Key Stages 1 and 2 by delivering high-quality interventions and assisting with the planning and implementation of lessons. This position arises from the expansion of our support staff to enhance our teaching capabilities and provide additional assistance for our growing student body. You will work with mixed-age groups and assist in various classes, each with a class size of approximately 30 students.
Application Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, ideally with HLTA qualifications.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• A proactive approach, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, including lesson planning and student assessments, while maintaining a structured and supportive classroom environment.
• Experience working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement personalized learning plans and interventions for students with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students with varying needs, including those with SEN.
• Contribute to lesson planning, deliver interventions, and assess student progress.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
