About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of our students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2024.

You will be expected to deliver high-quality learning experiences, assist in planning and preparing lessons, and provide support to teachers and pupils alike. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all students, regardless of their background or ability, have the opportunity to succeed and thrive in our inclusive environment.

Application Requirements:

• Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: Prior experience working within a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and motivate students, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting the educational needs of pupils.

• Personal Attributes: A commitment to promoting equality and diversity, a positive and flexible attitude, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting Learning: Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons and learning activities.

• Student Development: Work with individual students and small groups to provide targeted support and interventions.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behaviour and fostering a love of learning.
