An exciting Quality Inspector position has become available in Tamworth at a precision engineering company.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Shifts: Monday -Thursday 7.45am -4.15pm and Friday 7.45am to 3.15pm
Rate: £16 per hour to £18 per hour
The Job
* Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
* Conduct tests on materials, parts, and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Ensure products adhere to company and regulatory standards.
* Interpret and apply quality control standards and procedures.
* Stay updated on the latest quality control standards and requirements.
* Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in products.
* Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection results and actions taken.
* Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations.
Requirements
* Conventional measuring equipment
* CMM experience (Mitutoyo COSMOS and CMM Manager)
* GDT knowledge
* FAIR reporting
* Be able to work as part of a team and on their own
* Calibration knowledge
