Our Tamworth client, a market leading manufacturing company, requires a Final Quality Inspector. Possibility of a permanent position following the successful completion of a trial period. Duties include improving Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD), this includes non production tasks. Providing leadership and champion the cause for continuous improvement in exceeding customer expectations. Ensuring that all Company HS&E policies are respected and rules are adhered to within your department. Responsible for compliance of sub-ordinates to company health, safety & environmental policies and rules. Supporting Lean processes inc. 5s and CI activities where necessary. Supporting and ensuring compliance with company policies & approvals, procedures and any ongoing business initiatives. Supporting and contributing effectively to your appraisal, and show a positive attitude to training and development within the team. Ensuring that all training is captured accordingly and shared with HR. Carrying out Final Inspection. Carrying out any rework that is required, ensuring that any completed rework meets the required specification. Ensuring that parts are inspected to the correct specification, customer, IPC or any other stated specification. Assisting production in making decisions on issues spotted in process. Completing FAIRS as and when required. Communicating any rework or scrap issues with product as soon as is possible. Working to deadlines - despatch list - couriers etc. Raising remakes as and when required. Raising Action requests as necessary. Assisting with inspection / rework of customer returns.

Our client offers:

- Monday to Friday
- 2 shift rotation rotating weekly.
- Monday to Thursday 10am-6pm / 7am-3pm. Fridays - 10am-4pm / 7am-1pm
- £12.00 per hour
