They have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator based in the East Midlands, this role makes a key contribution to their clients receiving exceptional training.


The role provides the opportunity for you to collaborate with our clients from different sectors and efficiently coordinate all aspects of the training designed and delivered by Maze both in the UK and Globally.

A multi-faceted role, no one day is the same when managing our training calendar, you will have the autonomy and scope to ensure that our client’s expectations are exceeded always so that they are their teams experience amazing results.

What will it take to be successful…

The successful candidate will be well organised, have first class listening and communication skills via various platforms to all levels, experience of high-level customer service and an empathetic approach that meets the needs of others.


An enthusiastic and proactive ‘can do’ attitude is a must, the energy and resilience to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines is key.  


There is a need for excellent written skills and comprehension of English language as you will be involved in proof reading and updating training materials.


You will be confident, have an outgoing personality and demonstrate commitment to integrity, confidentiality, equality, diversity, and inclusion. 


Maze is very much a ‘we’ and ‘collaborative’ approach, you will be a part of a team that will include external partners, subject matter experts, freelance trainers and facilitators and every person is equally important and valued for their part.


What will you be doing day to day…

·        Answering calls from potential customers in relation to general training enquiries.

·        Maintaining training calendars in a timely and comprehensive manner so that everyone has access to current information.

·        Coordinating the delivery of training in the UK and Globally for our clients, using our team of high-quality trainers and facilitators from a variety of geographic locations.

·        Arranging travel, logistics, training materials and equipment for our trainers and facilitators ensuring they have everything they need.

·        Creating and maintaining accurate training records.

·        Interpreting training feedback to ensure customer satisfaction, fit for purpose solutions and continuous improvement.

·        Working closely with those involved in training design to ensure the standard of materials produced are of the highest quality including brand consistency, accuracy, and ease of use.

·        Offering timely support and responses to questions from clients, delegates, trainers, and our partners.

·        Occasionally attending customer meetings face to face or virtual. 

·        Supporting the Managing Director, day to day.

·        Assisting with marketing of the business.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

·        Ability to multi take and prioritise tasks effectively.

·        Enjoys working as part of a small team and can take responsibility for their own workload.

·        Has very strong organisational and time-management skills.

·        Able to learn new skills quickly and efficiently.

·        Demonstrate excellent IT Skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Teams which is an important part of our virtual training delivery. 

·        Well, presented both face to face and in the virtual environment.

·        Sees change as exciting prospect.


It would be a bonus if you had the following… 

·        Experience in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite.

·        Previous experience of working in HR or learning and development.

·        Experience of booking travel arrangements.
