Logistics Coordinator

You will be responsible for coordinating the deliveries of finished product to site and the management of the storage of finished product within the factory.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities
- Oversee all products leaving the factory.
- Communicate with Production, Finishing and Quality departments.
- Review client delivery dates and requirements and update planning accordingly.
- Attend site visits with client and transport company to review site access requirements.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure that the delivery schedule is up to date and lead times are met.
- Work with the Finishing department to ensure products are ready to leave the factory when required.
- Updating master delivery tracker.
- Weekly/Monthly checks to ensure efficiency of storage area, raising advance awareness when storage area is approaching full capacity.
- Collaborate with the Quality department to conduct inspections before beams are despatched to site and ensuring that all products leaving the factory are fully compliant.
- Maintaining all delivery despatch records and ensuring that drivers have the correct paperwork when leaving site.
