Are you an experienced bookkeeper, looking to work for an industry leading company? This role is office based and the successful candidate will be based at the Halesowen office predominantly but travel to the Bromsgrove office will also be required once / twice per week.
The Profile
You will be working closely with the with the rest of the team. You will be responsible for
multiple company accounts. Our client is looking for a candidate who is a real team
player, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. In return you will be a valued
member of a great business with industry leading support and development. You will also be an essential part of helping more junior members of the team grow as this is an active training practice and all employees are expected to contribute to the training of others.
Bookkeeping Skills Required:
- Inputting of Sales Invoices
- Inputting of Purchase Invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Completion of quarterly VAT Returns
- Submitting of VAT Returns
Candidate Specification
- Competent using QuickBooks or other cloud-based software.
-Competent with Excel spreadsheets, Outlook and MS Office.
-Experience with Sage payroll would be advantageous.
-Ideally AAT qualified, however qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
-Accountancy practice experience is ideal but not essential
