Job description
This is an exciting role for someone with strong account management experience in the food service industry. Our business is continuously growing, and the Key Account Manager is responsible for managing our major national accounts. This includes maintaining and building strong relationships, being across commercials, forecasting, and ensuring our best in class standard is met every step of the way.
It’s a busy role, where you will be expected to grow our RTM channels, prepare and deliver pitches and presentations, attend exhibitor and customer events, be across commercial and operation requirements and more. You will work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing and Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
As Key Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining and developing long-term relationships with key national accounts.
• Identifying opportunities and securing new business.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and managing expectations across all aspects of the accounts. managing expectations and delivering best in class service.
• Growing our RTM channels in addition to continuous growth across accounts.
• Managing commercials, forecasting, contracts and agreements to maximise revenue and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
• Working closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure cohesive service delivery.
• A strong understanding of the market, alongside keeping up-to-date with what’s happening in the market and aware of industry trends.
• Analyse accounts sales data, and present on performance, opportunities and risks.
• Working closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing and the Managing Director to implement the sales strategy through key accounts.

Hours of Work:
• Monday – Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Some weekend work and travel will be required on occasion for exhibitions or events.
• Occasional travel to our factory, March Foods in Cambridgeshire.
