Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Tara's Retreat Care Home. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing seasonal menus that cater to the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and dietary requirements of our residents.

• Collaborate with residents, families, and the Home Manager to create menus that meet their needs.
• Ensure the delivery of an excellent dining room and mealtime experience.
• Oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen.
• Effectively manage kitchen finances and adhere to company-set budgets.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team through supervision, appraisals, and induction of new members.

Requirements:

• Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
• Be able to work well in a team and lead others.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
