SRG are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a public sector organisation who regulate and oversee aspects of the aquaculture industry across the UK. A member of their regulatory affairs advisory team is going on maternity leave and they are looking for an experienced individual within the aquaculture industry to assist them over the next 12 months (and potentially beyond).
The role
This position sits within the regulatory affairs team, a team of individuals who all specialise in their own niche area of aquaculture regulation. As the regulatory affairs advisor you will work as part of this team, monitoring changes and guidance in regulations surrounding seafood. You will be required to interpret, understand and communicate legislative text. You will establish effective relationships with organisations at all stages throughout the seafood chain, as well as working with a variety of trade organisation
The right individual
To be successful in this role you will have;
Previous demonstrable experience in the import & export of seafood from and to international markets
Great relationship building & communication skills
The ability to read, interpret and communicate legislative text
Experience of facilitating workshops between stakeholders and policy makers
