Exciting opportunity for an ambitious business developer to join an environmental solutions provider.
Treatment of wastewater is a necessary process as it ensures the water flowing through the UK’s sewage systems is safe for the UK’s population. Supporting this, there are a number of organisation providing solutions for preventing or solving issues of contamination.
In this challenging new position, you will join an industry leader in wastewater treatment solutions. Adding value to your customers by selling chemicals and equipment that decontaminate the water entering and leaving the industrial site.
These customers include various manufactures from a range of industries; such as the food and beverage industry.
In this role, will be responsible for driving business growth within the South UK territory, visiting industrial sites across the region and providing consultative solutions. You will be required to have technical conversations with decision makers, be responsible for building new professional relationships as well as calling upon your background in business development in order to secure new contracts.
Some of your main activities will include:
* Developing and implementing action plans
* Prospecting, generating and follow-up of leads
* Technical and commercial discussions with customers
* Work closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support and assistance required
* Attending meetings and exhibitions
* Extensive travel is expected to visit potential and existing customers
A background within environmental science, chemistry or similar is desirable, due to the technical nature of the chemicals and equipment being sold. For this position, both experienced business developers and graduates are encouraged to apply.
